A City Of Wonder, Put Into Asunder
Due to the global pandemic, the continuous traditional way of celebrating of Vigan City Fiesta has been postponed and scrapped, as well as businesses and jobs, schools, parks, and other establishments. It is very saddening to see it come to a halt, but it is very important for the safety of Vigan City's residents, civilians, tourists, and local visitors. We are forced to celebrate it in our homes, celebrate it via social media and visual or auditorial devices. It's a painful sight to watch, but we can adapt and enjoy it with our friends and family. We won't be able to physically celebrate, but we can rejoice as a community.
Due to the epidemic, the traditional style of commemorating the fiesta has changed, but the festival's heart and message remain unchanged. Our health, as well as the health of others, should be our primary priority. It is far more vital to be at home and alive than it is to go out stupidly, knowing full well what your duties are. To begin, get the vaccination and follow the COVID-19 regimen. It's ain't worth dying.

ReplyDeleteHello there, Aamer! I am fascinated by this blog of yours, the message is clear and it is very informative. I agree with what you have said, Vigan truly is among the iconic cities of the Philippines. From its scenic tourist spots down to its local products, everything is remarkable. The Vigan City Fiesta is an example of the remarks of Vigan City: magnificent street dance and parades, merry carnivals, and local products is the highlights of this festival. Sadly, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the vibrance of this festival is ruined, but it should not stop us from commemorating the festival's true heart and message. It is for our own safety that they are still prohibiting us from going outside.
