Women Empowerment Makes A Better Future

Women have faced numerous sorts of discrimination throughout history, and one of the most serious repercussions of that prejudice is a lack of appropriate opportunities and facilities for women. Even though constitutions in several areas of the world provide equal rights to men and women, we still have a long way to go to enhance women's status in society.

Women's empowerment is critical in the Philippines, as well as across the world, for women, families, communities, societies, and nations. We will continue to struggle to attain comprehensive development without empowered women.

Individuals must have the necessary information and ability to comprehend the nature of the objects around them and make decisions based on that understanding. Women who are secluded will lack the necessary information and opportunity to comprehend how the world operates. As a result, their growth is stunted. Women's empowerment is needed to equip women with the information and tools they need to better comprehend the world and its nature.

As COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on the global economy and culture, it becomes clear that the epidemic affects men and women differently, necessitating gender-balanced countermeasures. Governments and humanitarian groups have joined forces to develop methods for dealing with the pandemic's issues, particularly the gendered effects that threaten women's safety, welfare, and economic position throughout the world. The COVID-19 epidemic is a barrier to women's economic empowerment in more ways than one.

Women were often denied equal opportunities and privileges in the past because they were believed to be weak in many ways. Discrimination has been experienced by some of them. Their talents were questioned in comparison to men's, and they also felt compelled to compete with other women in order to be afforded equal rights and opportunities in other sectors.

These are only a few of the issues that women face, and the load becomes significantly greater during a pandemic. In the midst of the coronavirus, their physical, emotional, and mental health were all affected. They experienced obstacles in their livelihood in addition to the challenges they faced at home. Many people have lost and continue to lose employment, but this hasn't stopped them from going on and showing their value. Not just to their families, but also to the community, their obligations have grown.

Women were denied a lot of opportunities, and they missed out on a lot of things that may have improved their lives. They do, however, deserve equal opportunities in education, in professions, in society, and in a variety of other areas. Women's empowerment is a fundamental obligation in which we should all participate. Because empowering women strengthens the whole community and future generations, it is a win-win situation. There are countless methods to empower girls and women, and the burden is shared by everyone in society, not just the government.
