Infinite Greed In A Finite World

For many years, the world we live in today has been our home. I've lived in this planet for 15 years now and I have witnessed major changes. Changes that have wreaked havoc on our planet. Many people continue to devastate nature for personal gain. Some, on the other hand, are urgently attempting to make a difference and safeguard our environment. "Bilang isang estyudante, tungkulin kong pangalagaan ang ating kalikasan," I may remark as I go into this new world where dreams are being formed and soon to be lived.

Much has changed in this planet. The number of trees has decreased, but the amount of junk surrounding us has grown. However, we and the kids are the ones who are most affected by these issues. So, hopefully, we will become aware of the truth as a result of this letter and the use of social media. As a result, as a high schooler, I'm encouraging you to preserve and protect our environment. Plant a large number of trees, put the trash where it truly belongs, and let us defend Mother Nature against those who are willing to destroy it.

Wake up, young folks. Let us safeguard our environment so that we are not damaged and do not suffer from the natural disasters that we have generated. We are putting our lives and the life of our loved ones in jeopardy if we do not safeguard our mother planet. This is something we must do for the sake of the next generation's future, I know this might sound cliche-ish to say but, we are truly responsible for making the change for future generations. If you cannot stand up to go out and pick some trash, you can donate to organizations online like #TeamSeas or #TeamTrees, because for every 1 dollar you donate, you will plant a single tree and you will remove a pound of trash in the ocean. Since the pandemic started, it is really hard for us to go out there to help, so this is the best choice you can make right now. We might not stop pollution instantly, but we can slow it down, significantly. Stand up, and let's all do something. Sorry future generations.

#TeamSeas
