People Together: When and How?

Since March of last year, the CoVid-19 has taken a terrible toll on our global population and economy. Almost every country had to seal its borders to limit or slow the spread of the virus. The Philippines joined the list of nations that have taken stringent measures by creating the Enhanced Community Quarantine on March 15, 2020.

The quarantine actually reduced the spread of the disease, and the Philippines has already begun to ease the restrictions. Although the number of cases in the country is no longer rising at a rapid pace, this does not indicate that the pandemic has given up on our country.

The government is not alone to blame for the chaos that has resulted; citizens can also play a key role in the spread of this virus. Many people have gone out without wearing masks, face shields, or any other protective gear. I realize that purchasing goods for your family is important, but you must always wear some form of safety equipment. Sometimes the enforcers are very harsh and penalize the victim simply for stepping out of their house. The police and the general public should behave properly to avoid further disruption and to slow the spread of this one-year-old epidemic. When we go out, we should wash our hands, drink wine, and wear face masks.

Remember that we can only accomplish so little on our own. But when we work together, we can accomplish so much.

  1. Very well-stated! I really love how you said every bit of detail on what is going on right now. It gave me a lot more hope and vision towards a normal covid-free country. Also, you mentioned the parts where there are polices that needs to be followed and it gives it a great touch on the overall post. Keep it up and good luck!
